Agreed Valuation

Agreed Valuations provide a guaranteed pay-out for your vehicle based on its current condition and current replacement value, meaning if the worst were to happen and your vehicle is stolen or written off you can replace the vehicle with another vehicle in a similar condition and value rather than taking the chance of being paid ‘market value’. Market value on a classic or specialist vehicle can be considerably less than your vehicle may be worth as ‘market value’ doesn’t consider restoration costs, modifications, rarity or provenance and ‘market value’ isn’t specific to your vehicle where an agreed valuation policy is.

Club Member Discounts

Being a member of an owner’s club can provide extra discounts against your insurance. Our insurers believe owners clubs members give their vehicle more love, care and attention so they may reward you with extra discounts on this basis.

Limited Mileage Insurance

Often a Classic American Car or Classic American Vehicle will be driven on the road less than your everyday vehicle often only being used at the weekend, holidays and high days and our insurers often reward you with extra discount for ‘limited mileage’ on this basis.

Choice of Repairer Option

Lancaster Insurance Services are partnered with several Classic American Car or Vehicle insurers who will allow you to choose your own repairer in the event of accident where your Classic American Car or Vehicle needs repairing, instead of you needing to use the insurers approved repairer (subject to terms & conditions set by the insurer). This option allows Classic American Car or Vehicle owners to take their vehicle for repair to the garage who may be restored the vehicle for you, or you can take it to a local garage who work on your vehicle regularly for you so they can carry out the work for you providing you that extra peace of mind if the worst were to occur.

Laid Up Cover

If you are working on restoring your latest Classic American Car or Vehicle project and are concerned about theft or accidental damage cover for your vehicle whilst the work is carried out, you’ll be pleased to know you can protect your car or vehicle whilst it’s off the road in a garage or parked on your driveway and often premiums are cheaper than ‘on road’ cover as there is no third-party liability needed whilst the vehicle is off road (terms and conditions apply)
